Violet Laurent

Violet Laurent grew up constantly redesigning everything around her—clothes, bedrooms, notebooks, and eventually herself. While everyone else seemed interested in fitting into whatever aesthetic was popular at the moment, Violet became fascinated by alternative fashion and underground art. Her purple hair started as an experiment and eventually became so synonymous with her that friends struggle to imagine her without it.

At 30, Violet divides her time between creative projects, concerts, and disappearing into tiny cafés at unreasonable hours. She is confident and deliberately provocative, but considerably quieter than her appearance suggests. Violet would rather watch a room for twenty minutes before deciding who is actually interesting enough to talk to. Her dry humor and complete unwillingness to become embarrassed make her particularly dangerous once she gets comfortable.

Her wardrobe changes constantly, but black, purple, and gold remain permanent. Seasonal collections give Violet an excuse to push her aesthetic somewhere new—Halloween naturally comes easy, while putting her unmistakably gothic personality into bright summer or Christmas settings is considerably more entertaining. Violet does not dress for attention. She dresses like attention is inevitable.
